Hi, Yesterday I received the results of my fasting blood test and it has been confirmed I am pre - diabetic. I am over 50 and overweight! so no surprises there I suppose :cry:
I would like to ask as a beginner, if there is a very simple book available, a bit like the calorie counter books you can buy, that will tell me very simply what is a no-no, and what is ok. I have to treat this now with a serious diet, weight loss and excercise, but the food choices is worrying me at the moment. I have looked at lots of books, but at the stage I am at now, a lot of them are too complicated and advanced. I need to start simply and at the beginning.
Any help will be very gratefully received.
