Hello all, I have just been diagnosed with diabetes. I am 39 years old. I feel very anxious and frustrated. I haven't started medication yet. Need to be seen at diabetic clinic. My morning blood glucose levels tend to be high, today it was 6.8, that is good for me but normally they are in the 7's and 8's. Could someone help me and advise me on what can the lowest reading be before bed. Last night I had a reading of 6.3, I thought that might be low for night ( very scared of having a hypo at night)so I had a crumpet to raise my blood sugars. Struggling with what to eat. Very scared of getting complications.
