sorry to be so blunt but i am in a slight dispute with my employers interpretation of what constitutes diabetic complications, i had oral thrush a few months ago and i was given nystatin by my diabetic specialist GP. I strongly believe it is caused when i lose control of BG but they seem to be less than convinced, any opinions.

Hi there,
I have always been advised that oral thrush is one of the diabetic complications that any one of us can experience. Been there, done that and I definitely do not want the CD. It was dreadful.

I would be inclined to put the onus on your employer by giving him/her the telephone number of your doctor. Give the doctor permission to answer any questions put to him/her by your employer (Send him a note). If your employer does not make the phone call then that is his/her decision.
