I have had bloods taken and have a plasma glucose of 6.5 . My doctor had said my results are normal but are in bold on the blood results sheet. Is this something I should look further into?

If it is a hba1c blood test and the result is the average of 6.5.
That means you are on the cusp of prediabetes, just above normal levels.
A few lifestyle changes cutting down on carbs and sugars, should help get it back down within normal levels.
I will have to say this dietary choice is if you are not taking meds for any other conditions.
