As an update to this thread, they started me on insulin back in November and wanted me to wait to start trying once I had a better HBA1C and better control on my sugars using insulin.
The consultant that decided to take me off all medication last Summer sat and told me in January I will not conceive as I was not having periods, so I must not be ovulating. This “advice” was not even looking at any hormone levels or taking into account I had only come off the depo injection 3 months prior, after being on it for 3 years.
My HBA1C at the beginning of May was 51, the best it has ever been. I was starting to get a regular cycle again from March, so we started trying towards the end of May.
I am now 5-6 weeks pregnant
