I’m currently in hospital with asthma but that has got a bit better now but currently on sliding scale because not keeping and fluid or food down hospital not doing anything to resolve the problem apart from say as soon as I can keep thing down then I can go back on normal med then go home missing my son( 7 year old)who cannot come it as the rule is that 12 year old are not allowed on the ward, and feel like I’m being victimised but hospital staff, the only other options is to self discharge but I now that not sensible, any one got any ideas

Hi Nooch, I’m sorry you find yourself in this situation.
Do you know what’s making you feel/be sick? Have you tried asking the nurses for something to stop the sickness so you can eat and drink normally?

Yah having antisickness which Anit working and no don’t know what causing I’ve tried not eating, just eating cracker not drink but eating

Have you asked if there is a family room where you could see your son? Surely these days they know such visits help both the patient and child.
