Yep I know this from my own lipid profiles. Its nice to see cardiac specialists joining the frey !

It is also interesting to see that Dr Malhotra has started to clarify "insulin resistance" to call it

Insulin resistance (chronically high levels of serum insulin) instead - which helps make the whole issue of getting down insulin a lot clearer.

"And just 30 min of moderate activity a day more than three times/week significantly improves insulin sensitivity and helps reverse insulin resistance (ie, lowers the chronically elevated levels of insulin that are associated with obesity) within months in sedentary middle-aged adults."

"Coronary artery disease is a chronic inflammatory disease and it can be reduced effectively by walking 22 min a day and eating real food."

I went for my review with DN this morning. She was pleased with my test results and said I was still their star patient.
I told her I had reduced my bs by lchf, expecting to be told off as she seems to be old school, but she said it does work well for diabetics and doesn't understand why it isn't recommended more. I said it was because the NHS didn't approve of lchf, and she agreed and said it was because they didn't want to approve the high fat part.
