Hi guys question about my great neice. She is only 4 amd was diagnosed a year ago. She's in nursery and the school are great the local children's hospital have done a great job communicating with them.
But little things keep cropping up,
For instance snack time, sometimes she has to miss out while others have one, because her Bg is slightly raised.
So my question is can any other parents suggest suitable, snacks that could be taken to school that would be appropriate for her.

I eat these all the time myself. I'll suggest this. I'm just always aware not to give the parents advice incase the guidelines for children and adults are different
I'm 7years diagnosed myself and only just starting to understand it all myself. So I never feel adequate enough to say anything specific.

Hypos, rude people, ignorance and grey days.
Hi there, the type of snacks I would suggest that are low carb and ideal for kids are:

Blueberries - with full fat greek yoghurt if possible.
Cheese
Cucumber/Carrot

What do the other kids eat as it may be better to try and copy this with a low carb alternative ?
