It’s not a disability under PIP rules.
The PIP guidelines do not state what constitutes a disability/
Anyone with a long term health condition can apply for PIP,including a person with T1 or T2 diabetes.
PIP is not about what health conditions that you have, but is about how they affect your life. You have to prove this by meeting the DWP descriptors.
There are people who have been awarded PIP that have diabetes, and people with diabetes should not be put off in applying if they need it.
Sorry to post in this thread but the earlier post may deter those in need from applying.
