Sugars rising after exercise

tey never used to be quite recently I've been lazy and now each time I run around a bit they raise to around 12~
Should I be looking to combat these or just wait it out?

At the moment they're fluctuating a little bit but most of the time I begin exercising around 5.6 and end up just over 11

My little boy has t1 and when his blood sugars raised after exercise/activity it ended up been because his basal insulin needed increasing yours could be something similar? What they found was his body was using his reserves after exercise and bringing them up

Its normal after exercise, I had it a while back and found a article somewhere about eating a small amount of carbs before exercise (wholemeal toast) , seems counter intuitive but worked , they still went up but not as much...
