Hello!

Has anyone here travelled to Mexico with diabetes medication? I've been reading up on it and I've noticed some of the websites say you need a prescription or letter from the doctor stating how much medication you need for the duration of your stay (translated into Spanish).

I've reached out to my surgery, but not sure I'll get a letter back in time, especially if it needs to be translated. Obviously I need insulin, needles, Libre sensors, my blood testing kit etc., alongside Sertraline and diazepam for anxiety. I'll also have painkillers just in case (I already know you can't take things like Sudafed into Mexico).

I'll take everything in its original packaging with pharmacy stickers and a copy of my prescription, but I'm just a bit worried that I'll get there and it'll be a whole issue if I get searched and don't have a letter saying how much medication I need!

If anyone could share their experiences I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
