hi,
I am seeking some advice about how diabetes affects the urinary system.
I am 20 years old (type 2) with a recent HBA1C of 39! I am healthy in all departments, however I am still troubled with urinating a lot and an uncomfortable feeling in my bladder, sometimes sore?? I find I am fixating on this and it makes me paranoid! It is not all of the time or overnight (at all), however I wonder if it is related to diabetes in any way at all? And if it's certain types of food that irritate?
My elevated sugar was discovered after having a UTI in April (awful things!) and I have not had any since thank-goodness, but I am still feeling that having a wee is not the same as it used to be! I have been to the Drs, all tests negative, I wonder if anyone has any advice. It may be a coincidence but if there is anyone out there who could share some advice it would be appreciated
