I am type 1 and am relatively stable, however I have been on a course of rabies vaccines and my insulin needs have doubled.
I was bitten by a cat quite badly and had 1 tetanus vaccine and my first rabies vaccine 2 weeks ago. I was also put on antibiotics. I have been off antibiotics for about 5 days now.
I have now had 3 rabies vaccines and am due for another 2. I know that medicine can raise blood sugars, but does anyone know if the rabies vaccine raises blood sugar?
Or how long it takes for blood sugars to go back to normal after bombarding the body like this?
