Weird! False hyper?

Hi all

I have all symptoms I get when my blood sugar is high. Thirsty, need the loo, head ache, muscle cramp. But my sugars are 6.8.

I have got a bad cold but I know the different symptoms. Should I check for ketones?

I think keytones are only present when you're bloods are high ? Not sure...

I think it'll be due to your cold and you might have a little bit of the flu. You'll be thirsty because your body needs extra water to create the mucus to clear the bug out of your body, headache because of the congestion of mucus in your sinuses mixed with a little dehydration and muscle aches- I don't know how to explain but I do know that is a common symptom of a cold/flu virus. Only one I can't link is the going to the loo. Overall I think you may just have a bad cold and you need your rest.... But I could be talking **** that's just my prognosis hope you feel better soon xx

Would check for ketones just in case! Could be start of some gastroenteritis or similar so just to reassure yourself I would test.
