What to do with old meters

Hi All,
i have been diabetic for 40 years and so over the years have had many many meters. Being a bit of a collector i still have many of them.
Is there a charity that reuses them for third world countries as it seems criminal to throw away such a valuable commodity when some countries struggle to access them. Any information gratefully received.

i worked :D in Romania many years (1993) ago and left my meter and many boxes of strips.
I appreciate that if there has been blood contact this could be a contamination risk but there has to be a way somehow.

regards Roni

I know of a charity that sends diabetic suplies to chonoble aria but unless you have a sly of strips then they are prety useless I guess. There is a guy on the forum though that has a diabetes musium and that may be a beter proposition . Simply put diabetc or diabetes musium into the serch box and you should be able to fim
D him
