There was an article on the BBC News website today about a (relatively) new app called "What3Words".
It's a geolocator, which has allocated every 9mtr square on the globe 3 words. These days the emergency services are utilising it where callers don't know where they are (lost on a hillside, or maybe having a brain freeze).
The article is here: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-49319760 and www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-47705912
The website is here: what3words.com/daring.lion.race
I must admit, I have downloaded it today, in the hope I'll never need to utilise it.
