Where to get free test strips ?

My name is Sharon Johnson.

I am married to a diabetic who uses the insulin pump. We have many diabetics in our city of Columbia, South Carolina (USA) who do not have insurance coverage to test their levels. We are asking if anyone has excess diabetic test strips that they do not need that can be donated. In some cases we can purchase the strips but we ask if the money could be used to support your favorite charity. Any help is a start. Thanks !

Hi Sharon,

I doubt that you will get any favourable replies.
Some Type 1's are having their monthly quota of test strips reduced and Type 2's are considered lucky if they get any prescribed. Most buy what they cannot get at a cheaper rate on e-bay.
