Although I tend to have high blood sugar & have been prediabetic, I am very slim. Having been ill I need to gain weight asap and have bought some whey protein powder. Trouble is I have now read differing opinions on whether or not this will cause sugar spikes. Can anyone help please?

You could eat more natural protein to better effect, and with the fat that comes with it, unless your diet is restrictive for other reasons.
