Bert Kamfert
At a quick glance it could be Frank Sinatra I thought.
He was only 53 when he died of a stroke
(he was a heavy smoker)at his home in Majorca.
His
link with Africa was one of his biggest hits, "Afrikaan Beat".
Among many others.....
he wrote the scores for Elvis's film G.I. Blues .
and the music "Strangers in the Night" for Frank Sinatra.
Another of his biggest hits was "Red Roses for a Blue Lady".
A talented and gifted man.
("56" whew)
But you won't guess the next one
Well done again izzzi.
That
was a hard one.
