Volek, Ph.D. R.D. and Stephen D. Phinney, M.D., Ph.D. - (When I'm stuck and trying to figure something out, this book has a reasonably good index. For now I'm using it as a reference and tabbing the pages).</p><p></p><p>The first book I read, that introduced me to and got me started on the LCHF diet was <em>Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution</em> by Richard K. Bernstein, M.D. - (A classic. More geared to type 1 diabetics, but helpful for type 2's too. I like his discussion about how to do the diet and make adjustments as you go, also his food lists. There's a lot more too. I use this book as a reference too.
