I think that the root of my chuffedness is that now eating is such fun - and for the first time in over 40 years, I'm not fighting hunger, thinking about portion sizes, feeling judgemental about food choices - it is sooo liberating.
What irony that though I had been low carbing for years, I hadn't been low carb
enough, or eating enough (of anything, but particularly of butter, cream, fat on meat, oils and nuts)
Today, holiday food has been:
Cooked brekkie in cafe minus toast and horrible sausage
Smoked salmon, coleslaw and salad
Homemade low carb scone with jam and clotted cream
And we've planned DIY burgers, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, followed by cheese and 1 biscuit
Sorry if I'm gloating.
Actually, I'm sure that I'm gloating.
I'm so delighted I could burst.
Mr B is getting tired of it too.
