Is your diabetes putting your heart at risk?

Synexus is currently looking for volunteers to take part in a clinical study which has been designed to assess an investigational medication, to be used alongside your current treatment.

For the Vertis CV study, we are looking for people who have diabetes and have previously had a cardiac event (as described in the next section).

This study may be suitable for you if:

You are aged 40 or over and have have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus PLUS have had any cardiac event from the list below:

  • You have had a heart attack or stroke
  • You have had narrowing or blockage of your coronary arteries (e.g. had coronary artery bypass or surgery or had a cardiac stent fitted)
  • You have been diagnosed with poor circulation to your legs
