Good Morning

Absolutely peeing it down here in Cambridge today and the south is even worse. Has to affect the referendum turnout, I would have thought :(

Got a bit of gout in my big toe joint since Monday, but flushing by drinking lots of water seems to be helping.

Do you think it could be because I have been off alcohol for 10 weeks, but consumed a fair quantity whilst on hols last week.

Spiked me to a 6.5 this morning:(

First time I've had first hand experience of inflammation on BG spiking.

Interesting:)

I hope you and your mum have a good day together, Arlene, and keeping fingers crossed for your dad. Big hugs xx
Thank you Debra, dad now out of hospital, they found his bladder was full of stones and they were to big to laser or get out. So he has to go back in for another operation were they will have to cut into his bladder to get them out. They told him he will be in hospital over a week and then he will have to have the district nurse come every day for a few weeks to change dressings. Its a shame he has really been through it over the last ten years. he was hoping to go back to America this year to see his family, but hopefully he may be ok for next year. Thank you for caring.:)

22/6/16 - Good Morning from a lovely Sunny day here in York. Hope you are all well and enjoy your day.:). @amgrundy - thinking of you Arlene and hope all go's well for your Father. Remember: Stress and Worry pushes up blood sugars. Have fun with your Mother, sending you big HUGS. - William x
Thank you so much William, I have just replied a post to Debrasue, I will copy and paste it here in case you do not get to read it.

Morning all, it's another bright and sunny day today. Going to go for a nice long walk to get away from Facebook politics!

Love and big hugs for you and your family today Arlene, and wishing your dad all the very best for a quick solution and a fast recovery. xx

Good morning folks. Mild and dry here in Cambridge. Achilles nearly recovered I think, so back to running Monday morning.

Not run for over a week and noticed a rise of about 1.0mmol, so I am pretty sure the regular exercise is a big help and I know I drop 1.0-1.5 mmol on extended fasts, so this combination added to LCHF with supplementation seems to be optimal for me:)

Do they do that operation where you are where they make the stones crack inside the kidney by zapping them somehow for easy removal?
Hi this is what they have just done, but the stones were too big to laser and break up. So the next operation will be cutting him open and cutting into the bladder itself to get them out. Thank you for your reply.:)

25/6/16 - Good Morning from York. It is bright, but no Sun and we are supposed to get rain today? Went to bed last night at 10.30pm and that is unusual for me, but felt a little woosy/light headed - think it was the Steroid Injections I had at the Hospital yesterday. Never had any supper, but slept like a Baby soundly and woke this morning in a hot sweat, when this has occurred before it is my Liver giving me a kick start for the day ahead. Hope you are all feeling well and enjoy the day.:)

Hi William, how is your knee today. :)

Good morning everyone, I wish you all a very happy weekend. Sun is out in Hampshire and I am off to London today with Ed, we are going to see a show and the weather is not looking good from lunchtime. Oh well, but I am very excited about going and will be making some lunch for us to take very soon. He should be here about 10 o'clock

Hi William, how is your knee today. :)

Thank You Arlene, It is "knitting together" just fine, it tells me when I have been limping on it too much. Hope your Mum and Dad are both well. And how is that shoulder of yours? What effect did the Physiotherapy have on it? You take care now. :) William x

Morning everyone, it's nice and bright at the moment but rain is forecast for later. Typical, my son is going to a prom at his old college later! Hope it stays nice especially for people who are going out and about

Beautiful sunny morning here in Central Scotland. Just back from our morning walk. Have a lovely day everyone
