Hi all,
The purpose of this thread is to provide a place for members to discuss concerns regarding neuropathy as this is a common complication of diabetes and eating disorders. Prolonged high blood glucose levels and HBA1C, often a result of insulin omission in individuals with eating disorders can often cause significant damage to nerves particularly in areas of increased blood flow such as the feet, legs and hands. This can lead to significant pain and numbness. Anyone is still very welcome to start their own separate threads on topics of this theme but this all-inclusive one serves as a place with a little less exposure as we know it can be daunting to start entirely new posts in a somewhat empty forum.
Best wishes,
asortafairytale.
