Just saw your signature. Why does a result of 44 put you in the pre diabetic range? Was this your first result?

When I was first diagnosed I was 48 and I am now 44 which I assume is pre diabeteic. Maybe I got that wrong but I am going in the right direction and still watch what I eat and drink or I will go up again.

My last result was 41. My doctor says I am diabetic. Still don't understand this.

Well apparently last June when I was first diagnosed I was just over the lower limit for diabetes. I completely cut out sugar and went very low carb and I went from 48 to 44 in around 6 months. I still don't totally understand about the numbers though... Just wish I could lose some weight aswell.....
