Help! I have so much weight to lose

Up in London today, staying over with son tonight. Done a total of 60 minutes or so of streetwalking (oo-er missus) with a 10 lb backpack.

I once sewed the legs of my jeans up so tight ( in the days before skinnies were fashionable) and getting into them was worthy of Houdini. I still have very flexible ankles.

Might have posted in the wrong thread there ...

This morning I got the urge to go shopping for **** food before work - i managed to resist but all day i had this thoughts at the back of my mind that i wanted to eat and binge. I wish i knew how to break the cycle....i hate it. It makes it difficult to keep to the low carb. I feel i want to eat all the time. Well was not a bad day but definitely not good. I need to get the eating under control or i will keep putting on weight with the insulin!! #feelinglikegivingupsometimes

im no expert or angel but breaking the cycle for me was easiest by making the "good" food REALLY nice and then binging on that, if i was going to over eat it was on healthy food, i low carb and never portion controlled anything, if it was low carb i figured i could eat as much as i liked

Yes we can! - and we will - all of us! OK so we had a slow start today, but it was a start, so as connie says tomorrow - big effort! For me it's helpful that hubby has just finished all the crisps and chocolate, pity about the cakes, but I'm not that keen on them so I'll be fine.:)

That's the problem........I don't like LCHF. I only like cheese. How do you make good food nice when there isn't any? Tomorrow I am cooking a roast so lots of veggies and beef. :(

i dunno :( its like if you told me to make fish nice, id be ********, i spent alot of time making food and baking, and generally searching for ways to cook food better

asparagus for example, i hated it! i googled "whats the best way to cook asparagus" tried it, modified it and now its my favourite veg, but i may just be lucky

Back to the start then:( I wish I liked eggs:(

and everyday is a fresh start :) an opportunity to either put the bad day behind us or do even better than the good day :)

Zand I had never thought of it like that. I am loving LCHF and finding it so easy but I love eggs, nuts, seeds, cream. Not so keen on cheese but can eat mild cheddar and love cheese like Brie. I have never been able to lose weight as I don't like all the traditional weight loss foods. So I can see where you are coming from it must be hard thinking of what to eat if you don't like the foods.

i dont mind eggs but i cannot eat them every day. My concern is to eat high fat you will clock up the calories pretty fast. i mean can you really lose weight if you are eating low carb but say 2000kcal a day? also i find that i can do a couple of days and then the withdrawal symptoms kick in i think and i find it very hard to stay strong

Well I had battles with my Mum at mealtimes because I didn't like anything and that made me worse
