When you see GP on Friday, ask for a Vitamin D bloodtest to be done. This is not done as routine and needs to be done seperately. If you are deficient, you will need an injection but deficiency might explain the tired feeling if its not down entirely to depression.

congrats on the lower a1c......just shows what can be done with more attention to bg monitoring, counting the carb correctly and doing the bolus. We all want you to be ok for yr back opp and after too

Great HbA1c, shame about the other bits. Obviously I'm not an expert but looking at your blood pressure I would be tempted to look at that as a possible cause of light headiness. My poor old dad (now 87) suffers from light headiness, especially when he stands up. Three doctors gave him three different diagnosis, Inner ear infection, vertigo and something else that I've forgotten. It was his DN who decided to measure BP standing and sitting and discovered how his blood pressure dropped when he stood up. In his case it was actually a known side effect of Amlodopine which he took for . . . . . . . wait for it . . . . . . . High blood pressure. I don't think you're on any BP meds, you look way too young and I mean that in a nice way, it's usually us oldies that get high BP.
As for tiredness, I guess that's what the blood tests were for, checking white/red cell count maybe?
Still, pleased about your HbA1c, that's good news, I think the only suggestion I would make is that slowly but surely you will chip away at the things that aren't quite right and you will get back to a state where you weren't light headed or tired.
Just a thought, have you considered consulting a Nutritional Therapist, a good one, somebody who studied for three years or more to get a degree in Nutritional medicine and is a member of BANT.

Never knew that was possible! ha! Sound stupid really! I have a GP appointment Friday so I will bring it up again with her! I am on gabapentin but I have been on that for nearly 2 months now so surely that isn't a side effect?? Nope no BP meds. I am 20 lol!
Nutritional therapist...never heard of one? What do they do?

Okay I shall ask! :) And thank you

So I had my blood test results for my tiredness etc. As for the lightheadedness she doesn't know why I am getting that.....

An idea that comes to mind is carbon monoxide poisoning..?
Depending I suppose on the location you suffer from most?? When was the last time you had the heating system serviced in your accommodation?

Fantastic result with your Hba1c result. Well done. I would agree with a vit D blood test. Also an underactive thyroid can cause excessive tiredness. I'm a nurse and those tests I would ask for. There is a reason for your tiredness. We just need to find it. Its too simplistic to blame it on depression at your age and you have lived with this pain awhile so you know the tiredness is something new. Good luck

Wut?! Surely I'd know if I had that?! And erm don't know now my place!

I had my thyroid done and that was fine! :( And I know! :( x

I agree with much of the above, your blood pressure does seem on the low side.

Its a little strange that we have to ask the doc to do the blood test for us and which one's its quite disappointing, I had to ask my doc to do a test for diabetes as my symptoms were matching to it, she was only checking my b12.
I am due to go to the doc as well as since I have started statins I am not feeling well, it started about a month after I have had them for but really feel dizzy at times, not so tired though

Nicola, where is the central heating boiler located in the house......kitchen, living room, airing cupboard, bedroom? Is it burning correctly? Is there a carbon monoxide detector on the wall that is working as it should? Jaylee may have a good point here.

Not necessarily.. The symptoms carbon monoxide poisoning could be attributed to a great many things..? You could have a blocked gas boiler or fireplace flue for all you know...? ;)

Boiler is erm downstairs I think....there was a gas meter reading about 2 weeks ago though wouldn't that detect it...don't have a fireplace lol!!

No, a "gas meter reading" is not a full system service.. A meter reading is a way of working out your gas bill only regarding gas usage..
I would advise you get an expert in to check the boiler. Then you could at least rule that out..!

Find out where the boiler is, if it has a service? If its upstairs, when you go to bed tonight, open yr bedroom ventilator a bit to let fresh air in until you find out.

I'm not sure about your circumstances? Renting?? A landlord has a legal obligation to the safety of tenants.. Including the maintenance of gas aplyances...

Sorry but this is actually hilarious hahahha, I can assure you that if it was carbon monoxide that the 3 other people in the house would be affected and not just me!!!
