Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5.7 bedtime
6.9 fasting

This morning I have a telephone assessment prior to a liver scan. Not sure how that's going to work.....o_O
 
4.5, apologises for the brevity of my initial post which just said 4.5, got interrupted mid post.
Once again will happily take the reading but have to admit vodka assisted from last night.
Well off,to work for me, have a great day all,speak later.

4.2 before dinner
4.8 after 1 hour
Did not do two hour test as had late dinner
5.1 fasting
 
Hi guys sorry not been on for a while asthma is really playing up have been in A+E over the weekend. They think its due to cold damp weather and change in meds. Steroids been increased for 2wks then back to Guys to see nurse.
Sugar level 6.5 this morning and staying under 9 which i think is good with the steroids been higher.

Diff hemisphere I know but here were mine for tonite prior to dinner and @ 1 and 2 hours

6.5 8.3 6.9

depending on which randomly selected number my SC Codefree has selected this morning.

Im actually doing 3 tests, every time nowadays, trying to get through this dodgy pot of strips as soon as possible.

Cant quite bring myself to throw them out...
 
I know :( I'm on 4 X gliclizide a day and I just cannot get them down the only time I can is if I eat practically zero carbs :( waiting for my doc to be available to go back and see her x

Hope it comes down. Would a phone consultation with docs help if you can't get an appointment

My English is very rusty from decades of partial use only. I had never heard of brass monkeys crying before, only that "its cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey ". So I had to google the "crying" bit, interesting stuff about the origin of these sayings. Anyway I am now up to date re cold weather and the reactions that monkeys can have to it. Wonder how they react to high FBG?
