ally1,s BS levels

I know what you mean about the funeral being nice and sad at the same time. It can seem that way with someone close, and can be a great comfort. You have done so well to go through such a terrible shock and upset without it affecting your BS levels. Stress can do such nasty things to our blood sugars. So well done Ally, be very proud of yourself. :)

Glad to see you back, take life one day at a time at your own pace, the pain will ease, love to you and your family.

it has been hard to keep my levels low. but today i did eat a few biscuits

I think, under the circumstances that is absolutely understandable, although I imagine a trip to hospital with soaring levels wasn't what anyone needed now either!!

My only comment would be that if you can move forward from this real hurdle, with your numbers pretty much unscathed, you will deserve all the respect we can find. Your family must be very proud of you (if they understand your challenges).

Oh I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Are you coming down with a cold or something? It isn't surprising your body feels low after what you have been through. (but at least your blood sugars are fine)

tea 9.8 and 10.6
i just think its the past 3 weeks that are catching up with me
i made my tea but could not eat
despite that my levels are slowly rising

Have a nice cup of tea/glass of wine/lower carb hot chocolate and a bath, and maybe try just crashing out.

I find when I have a significantly traumatic event such as you've had (and thankfully, I haven't had anything quite like yours to cope with), I just feel completely exhausted after the funeral, and need a few days just to try to find out which way is up.

Don't underestimate how deeply these things are felt, Ally, and I expect you've been a great support to your Mum too If you can give yourself a couple of quiet days, with your thoughts, I hope you'll begin to feel a bit brighter. It must be very, very tough.
