Disappointing 5.6 this morning. Maybe not going for a walk yesterday was the reason?

4.3 this morning I'm happy with that, more like my normal figure. and the scales now have me under 11stones!! I can see that magic number 10 now. 13Ib to go and I Will have reached my target. Woohoo!
Cool.... :singing::joyful: Well done Killer...

6.2... after 4.9 pre dinner and 6.1 after chicken stew, veg only....:( It must be the worry of trying to organise everything for the new kitchen... so much to do and I'm flying out again tomorrow.... maybe I'm dreaming about flooring and units, paint and lights... and and and... and running in my sleep :)

I went to bed on 7.6 last night having pushed the carbs a bit so was not expecting such a good reading this morning.
Hah! Just goes to show... maybe I need to add some carbs now... :) That'd be nice... chips?

Nope, tis true

"Sandancer

Sandancer (or Sanddancer) is a colloquialism used to describe those who come from the town of South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England. Residents of South Shields are often referred to as Geordies, this is incorrect as Geordie only refers to people from Newcastle upon Tyne.

The origins of the term are hotly contested, and they are many theories as to where the term comes from, but very little in the way of hard facts.

There are written accounts dating back to the 1850s describing the skill of the locals 'Dancing on the sand' whilst helping free ships that had become stuck on the beach.[citation needed]

Another popular theory is that it is derived from the term 'Sans Danger', an oblique reference to the town's history of smuggling and contraband of French origin.[citation needed]

Sandancer is considered by some to derive from the large number of Bangladeshi, Yemeni and people from other parts ofAsia who moved to the region between 1900 and 1920. Others claim this dates back as far as Roman times, as the first inhabitants of Arbeia were Syrian boatmen from the Tigris.[citation needed]

Others believe the term derives from a 1930s music hall act, Wilson, Keppel and Betty, which featured a "Sand dance", though as the act was never performed in the North East, it seems unlikely.

Sandancer is now a label that many people in South Shields are proud to identify with.[citation needed]"

Thank you PD...I reckon it's the 'Sans Danger' label myself... makes a lot of sense as we often bandjax and strangle the bits the French left behind here..... and so much more exciting than being named after a music-hall act... :)

I thought I'd test again after 1.5 hours and a Bullet Proof coffee and it was 6.6... :bigtears:

Why sorry? What have you done we are all human and you've got a lot on your mind. No problem. Try not too overdo things:);)
Thank you Lou... have a nice day... :)

5.6 is OK ...... some would kill for those numbers

You're right :) But after low 5s and even a couple of 5.0s, a 5.6 is not what you are hoping for. But on the good side I weighed myself this morning and have lost one and three quarter pounds since Sunday and am back on target to beat 12 stone by this coming Sunday.

Edit - Oooh, BMI now under 24 at 23.9 :D

Nice work BT. Inspirational stuff.

Just proving for those who ever care to read (and learn) what CAN be done.

Keep going guys :)

7.0 for me this morning - I went to bed on 5.2... I am starting to think that the only way to stop my liver dump is to have a liver transplant:( Sometimes diabetes is a real pain in the butt...

What did you eat? Maybe time to think about eliminating carbs almost completely. Certainly for me at this time I try to avoid carbs altogether - it's virtually impossible but in that aim I manage to reduce carb consumption to just 20-30g per day.

I think the culprit was a baked potato - we live and learn!

15.7 today, so slowly going back in the right direction. Still getting to grips with the LCHF diet, but will get there eventually. Potatoes, pasta, rice etc seem to be fairly easy to remove, but it is shocking to see the carb levels in some fruit and vegetables.

feeling bit that way here. Bed 5.6 fasting 6.5- I am waking every morning in a panic which isn't helping. The answer is to get day time stress levels down but that isn't happening
