Our girl shed ...

Have been trying to get over there for days to help catch up but never seem to have a minute. So SD a big thank you I'm sure everyone will appreciate your hard work:cat: ((hug))

Ooh, cold in the shed this morning....had to put the heat on. Seems to be a draft from somewhere but the windows were all shut. Made myself a nice brew and helped myself to some of those gorgeous carb free cakes you left SD followed by a sugarfree jelly n cream (being bit of a pig....no offence Doris & Mabel)
Once I warmed up I put the thick "spare coat" on....think Jem left it for us....and said hello to all the animals. Chickens still laying at mo so put some in my bag and rest in a bowl on kitchen windowsill cos no room in fridge....
I'll get back off now...car MOT todau
 
Sorry Jan meant to turn on the night heating yesterday but forgot, done now though so that shouldn't happen again, in case you need to play with the temp its the thermostat on the wall outside the tank cupboard, and the Yellow switch in the hot tank cupboard turns it on and off.
You were right there was a draught sorted now, the weather cover on the outside of the bathroom vent had come off have now screwed it back on tight, but will keep an eye on it in case it needs replacing.
Glad you enjoyed the cakes, hope the car goes through no probs,, will pop back later to check on the heating.

Ooo yes so nice and warm now , won't need the extra blankets untill,it snows ..
I have stocked the freezer with some veggie meals .. To microwave .. And plenty of pots of homemade soup ..
Just a few things ..
Not good at making cake though .. But how nice ,.
Glad you had some cake jan , you deserve it this week .. X
Thanks SD for sorting a few things out , so glad you have so many contacts , where would the shed be without you ..x

Well ladies just popped in for a tidy up, as you can see all outside work done, grass cut, veg patch tidy, new fruit canes planted hedges trimmed more hay put under pumpkins, and they are looking good, so I think the grounds are ready for the winter, stuff from veg patch in pig bin so please don't throw onto compost heap.
Farrier has been and done the donkeys shoes and bless him he trimmed the pigs feet too, I couldn't manage with those stupid trotter clippers, he has said he will keep an eye on them for us, wouldn't take payment but was happy to take 2 doz eggs.
Have used the egg money to restock the cupboards and freezer, change in tin, think I remembered everything and a couple of treats for us too, if there is anything I missed write it on the board and I will get it Friday when I go shopping.
The animals are all looking sleek and well fed, Jem says the chickens will start to stop laying shortly till they moult then they should start again, he is so good with them and their houses are always so clean, caught him sitting with the pigs scratching their bellies, wish I'd had my camera.

I called in there on my way in, which is why I'm late getting on here. Who's been in the shed today? :grumpy: somebody drank the wine and left the bottle on the sink as evidence and a note with a smily face on it:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:. I'm well angry now, thought I'd have some of that cheese with a cracker, followed by some of the trifle & a glass of wine but this incident put me right of food!! It's not that I minded anyone having a drink it was the cheeky way it was done that p..... me off. Anyway been out shopping & bought a couple of xmas presents for the shed gang, didn't intend to as it's only September but thought would get them anyway, just the thing for two particular people. Don't let on to SD but part of her pressie is a pack of dusters as I reckon hers must be wearing thin with all the usage they get. Must check all my alerts....there are 49 of them tonight my own fault for being late in

I know it was pat , same happened last time , did you check the spare bedroom that's where she was after the last bottle , and the snoring :facepalm::wideyed::woot:

Well after the disappearing wine I'm keeping mine home until nearer the time but will have a think & when I've thought, I will leave a note under the mat for you, unless you think of somewhere suitable first. No, I'm certain there was nobody else at the shed, I'm surprised at Pat I didn't have her down as an alcoholic she always seems such a lady, no it can't have been her:shifty: could it?? Yes some nice hand cream to go with the dusters will be nice, I will make it special and maybe some rubber gloves to protect her hands, more mail to check

We'll the wine wasn't me, been on a 3 hour shop earlier waiting for the car.. white trainer shoes ate pinching a bit now but the leather is really strong and stiff yet...bloo#y bunions....wouldn't have had any anyhow...driving.... But WHO drank a FULL bottle? Shame Kat's CCTV was just a wind up...think I hear rain on the trees...or mayb just the breeze.
Shower soon, then bed and NO alarm......ooh, suddenly felt hungry..... :hungry:

How have you been today? Noted your your wander round the shops, if the trainers continue to pinch there is a leather stretch spray you can get that softens it, I've used it sometimes when the heel off a shoe rubs. Don't know who had the wine but at the end of the day it was just a bottle of wine, just a bit unfair nobody else had a taste, SD did a good job at tidying didn't she even outside it looks great. Hope you are ok been thinking of you, it's very sad to lose a friend. Think I'm going to make a cuppa and off to bed, have another book on the go.

Ooh, do you know what it's called? Might be worth a try...as I out them on not long after I bought them and continued to shop in them that wouldn't have helped. Just taken them off ..
Yes, SD has done a great job, in and out if the shed....all that fruit and veg for next year....and what she knows about chickens....never knew they moulted, much less stopped laying when they did. Well gotta shower now, then brew in bed.....

Sorry don'know the name but it's in most supermarkets, on the end of the isles where they have a kind of pegboard, Will be in Tesco Thursday will see if I can get the name for you. Enjoy your shower, sleep well

Feel sooo much better for the shower and gave my feet a good massage with the water too.....
 
I have just dropped in the shed , all is quiet here , all pets sleeping , can't see our gem, jed ...
Bet he is having tea somewhere , or having a break in the local kings head .. Or should it be queens arms today ...
It is her special day after all .. Perhaps I will sit awhile and tweet Liz :plong may she reign :)
