Low hba1c but glucose spikes. Does it matter?

After 2.5 months my HbA1C has reduced from 42 to 39 - so not a massive reduction but it is in a better place. However, it seems to have caused a spike in triglycerides from 1.8 to 2.5.

Low hba1c but glucose spikes. Does it matter?

Thanks again. This is very useful. Overall this is highly concerning and I would have not known the havoc my food has been causing regularly without a CGM. HbA1C would have taken much longer to unearth this - it already has given a false sense of security over several years. I'll now focus on...

Low hba1c but glucose spikes. Does it matter?

Thanks and also thanks for reminding me to be mindful of all carbs. Yesterday, BGL had a big spike at 7 pm after the consumption of the below (after 10 days of low carb, I decided to test impact of moderate level of carbs) Tomato and Mozzarella Baguette Juice/smooth (Mango, coconut yoghurt...

Hot bath and blood sugar levels

Yes, I keep the sensor on (didn't know it can be removed once installed). Interestingly, the line chart on the Librelink app does not show the higher values despite the log book showing the higher readings. Also, the daily log on Liberview, although shows the reading, it shows it outside of...

Hot bath and blood sugar levels

Thanks for your response. Sorry I noticed that I missed an important part of my post above. To clarify - I have been using Libre 2 for the last 7 days. I fasted only on 1 of those 7 days. However, the Libre is consistently showing high reading (6.4 mmol) after showering which drops to 4.8 mmol...

Hot bath and blood sugar levels

interesting discussion - I am not diabetic but my hba1c is rising and is borderline prediabetic as per the latest blood test. I am using Libre to see which food/activities are impacting my BG and how. I noticed that even with a 24 hour fast, my BG on Libre rises consistently from 4.8mmol to...
