    Survey completed. I have no problems injecting anywhere. I don't see why something I need to survive should be stigmatized. I've injected in fancy restaurants and greasy spoons alike.

    Metformin

    +1 for the slow release version. I'm type 1 but my endo has me on metformin (glucophage SR) as well as a basal/bolus with Lantus and Novorapid.

    I use a fresh needle every time. I've got a Diasecure for each of my pens so it's fairly easy to carry them with me.
