Looking to see if anyone has any advice on how to get an insulin pump...i was diagnosed almost 13 years ago and I'm being told I can't get one as there is a waiting list of around 3 years (have been trying for 2 already) yet there are people who have been diagnosed only a few months ago get them...
Try just talking to her about it, I was exactly the same when I first got diagnosed and trying to force her definitely won't help. for me it was more about being in denial I didn't realise how what I was doing was affecting me. it might take her a while to open up but listening to what she's...
Hope it's all healing now, can I ask how you managed to get them to take care of it..I've had a hole in my leg for over a year now and the doctors just keep sending me away saying it will be fine
Just want to check if I'm right here. if I have a diabetic ulcer and it is not healing should I be resting it as I work in sales and my manager wants me to stand for my 9 hour shifts without being able to sit down even 10 minutes at a time. any advice you have would be great .
I know a few kids that have gotten 1, they just keeping telling me that they will discuss it at next appointment and nothing comes of it, according to them I do meet the nice criteria of getting one
Aww that's great that it seems to be settling down, I've just went out to get a head peice in the meantime as I only have a small amount of hair left at the moment and its not possible to hide
She said it is closely linked to that, they will be double checking my iron and thyroid but if they are fine she said it is definitely the diabetes, I was given prescribed ointment to try and help in the meantime
