    Thanks for replies, very helpful. Yes I am living in the UK. I am seeing my GP on monday and shall ask her about the alturnatives, and book an app. with my diabetes nurse asap. :D

    I have just found out by looking on the net that my insulin Human Mixtard 30 was discontinued in 2010. Has this affected anyone else and did their diabetes team notify them? I'm a little worried!!! :?
