Andrew962

I was rushed to hospital on 31 July 2015 with a blood sugar level of 635 mg/ dl. After a week in ICU, I began my new life with Type 2 Diabetes.

At 5' 9", I currently weigh in at 239 lbs and I am classified as Obese II. So my aim is to get down to just under 200 lbs.

My main challenges during my workday are going to lunch on time and drinking enough water during the workday (largely due to effect of the air conditioning).

I feel the need to remove bread entirely from my diet and so I'm researching this online for practical alternatives.

My ultimate aim is to get off of the insulin injections and play tennis again (at my new weight) some day soon.
