Been diabetic from the age of 9. Hardest part (at the time) was the prospect of never being able to pig out at easter. Now I'm almost thankful for it ;)

Had a rocky road to this point but things have settled down a lot for me in recent years. Control has become so much easier.

I've never really had anyone to talk with re diabetes and what is means to live with it but I must say that's partly my own doing. Over the years I've been offered many chances to join groups but they always kinda me feeling like I was joining AA or some similar groups therapy so I never stuck with it.

Anyway times change so who knows, maybe I could learn something from you? =)
