Well i tried,showed him the posts found diet suggestions etc,but he won't have it and i know he will not do it. What do you do when a diabetic will not help himself,i told him hoe scared i am but nothing works he thinks he know best :( Thank You for your help,i will keep trying.

Well that is probably the problem,he tries with his diet but since mum died he is not good,he has never had to cook for himself. I did wonder if ths was the case,he has had a diet plan from the nurse but it did not suit him as he is very traditional with meal choices and will not try anything...

Thankyou ken,i really am desperately worried about him he is not an easy man to advise and even after all these years resents his diagnosis of this disease.
