Hi Charis1213
I think you have been really brave to overcome some of your anxieties it is so hard and takes a lot of courage. I found the books by Claire Weekes a great help, she wrote numerous smallish books to help with nervousness. Her approach was to learn how to, face, float and accept...
Yes, the maddening thing is the unpredictability. Tried to find which foods maybe cause it but no luck. Like you sometimes I don’t even have to bolus for a meal because B G doesn’t rise at all. I have have had a total pancreatectomy so no natural insulin is being produced. I think you are doing...
Hi Sharyn, I have the same problem. I have this problem mainly after lunch. It is scary, I never bonus before eating, sometimes I can remain at 4mmol or below for 2 hours or more after eating before BG starts to rise. I can extend my bolus with my pump so the insulin goes in over an hour or...

It is probably a Lay Member or Public Health Specialist. Diabetes is such a complex condition I dont see how they can make a proper judgement without a specialist in diabetes care.
Well said, donnellysdogs, there is no equality. It is about time NHS England got their act together and sorted this out. You are obviously exceptional and should not have to go through all the stress and lengthy process of having to prove this through Individual Funding Request route. There...
I find Glucojuice is very fast to bring you back from hypoland. Boots sell it about £1.55 per bottle, a bit pricey but it works really fast. Glucotabs are also quick and cheaper from Amazon.
