This app doesn't work for me. I need pro for it to work properly & I bought Jade Pro Gold recently as my plan was running out but the app refuses to recognise that I have & support aren't responding.
Sorry I can't help. The only problem I have had with Ozempic is getting hold of it. Had to stop taking it back in June due to it being out of stock & it won't be available until the new year at the earliest.
You at least used to be able to write to someone to request being transferred to another GP if you are having problems with your GP. I forget now who as I last used it in 1999. Not sure if that option is still available with the changes made to the NHS since then and the current GP shortage
Difficult for me though as I rely on home delivery and tend to get everything very short date as a result if at all. I shop 3 times a week & often everything has to be used up on the day I get it of what I can cook (I'm also osteoarthritic too preventing me cooking for myself & my only help with...
Welcome I'm Autistic and ADHD as well as diabetic (amongst other things). I'm type 2 and struggled at first when diagnosed. Because it took a long time getting my diabetes sorted it was put on hold by Covid making it even longer to get on top of it. I was diagnosed about a year/ year & a half...
In my experience Dexcoms 6 & 7 at least stay on a lot better than Libre. I was also allergic to the glue used by Libre but not Dexcom. Not used Dexcom 1
Dexcom 6 & 7 also have apps which means you can use your mobile rather than buying a receiver (which costs about £250 if I remember correctly). (Just saying for the benefit of anyone unfamiliar with Dexcom following the thread).
Dexcom suits me better as I don't have to remember to scan it at...
I have taken Ozempic for several years. The only problem I've had is getting it. Its been out of stock for months and my insulin requirement has begun to go up as a result. Not expected back in until 2024- that's at least 5 and a bit months.
Here in the UK its a legal requirement if you are the driver & are on insulin to have a blood glucose test kit with you for proving you're out of the hypo before you start driving again after a hypo (even if you use the likes of Libre) and to check your blood sugars twice before you drive (this...
You & me both on keeping it in my bag. Glucose tablets or these tubes of glucose gel should always be the first thing used. Chocolate bars are useful for after they have kicked in to keep your blood sugars up for longer than the glucose. Another helpful trick is to eat before you travel which...
I was having my skin damaged by the Libre 2 and sensors were lasting less than 24hrs before they ended. I was self-funding anyway being Type 2 so although D6 was more expensive I switched. I more recently tried out G7 & liked it so I have switched to G7, which works out cheaper than G6 if I...
