A1C July 2018 - 5.6% (37.7)
after 1 year low carb it has gone up....
July 2019 - 5.9% (41)
Dec 2019 - 6.0%
I have chronic kidney disease and it is imperative I keep my A1C from going any higher.
Not giving up on low-carb but trying to figure out what to do next.
November 2019: Got a CGM and quickly discovered I have reactive hypoglycemia.
- Type of diabetes
- Prediabetes
- Treatment type
- Diet only
- Exercise
- Walk/jog daily for about 90 minutes
Do bodyweight exercises (pullups, pushups, squats)
Do mobility exercises (spins, cartwheels, handstands)
44 year old female, 5'2'', BMI 22.9 (was BMI 26 when initially diagnosed)

started low-carb and lost weight, lowered BP, etc., but blood sugar still out of whack:

September 2020 I took the plunge and committed to a 30-day very low carb way of eating. My fasting blood glucose has finally dropped into the normal range (actually even low-normal!).
