    How long have you been diagnosed?

    I was first diagnosed with Type 1 in April 1963 so I am just coming up to 50 years! It has affected my eyes but I am under a wonderful eye clinic. The downside of diabetes for me is the depression. Sometimes brought on by low blood sugar.
