Just a tip for things like rice and pasta i would suggest buying the little baking measuring cups.
My unit of measure is 1/3 cup is roughly 15g or 1 serving. They make life so much easier. :)
That is so frustrating. That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had about 3 strips left and I test about 8 times a day. I made it a point to see a walkin doctor later that day to prescribe strips and I just didn't check as often for the day.
I got a note telling them how often I test so now...
If you don't need to bolus and you're not having lows (or highs) with the basal alone. Why would you want to dial your basal down in order to need to bolus? Is there a reason why the bolus needs to happen?
