    Accucheck Aviva Teststrips - difference

    Both strips provide 'Plasma like' numbers which according to the leaflet in the box is around 11 percent higher than whole blood. The Accuchk website provides a conversion table. Plasma like suggests that the numbers output are calculated and not a plasma sample based test.

    Readings are, apparently, about 11 percent higher. The web site provides a conversion table. You obviously have to 'think' in the new numbers but converting a series of the data you have for yourself (as I did) makes life a bit easier.
