Ive been type 2 seem May 12 on low carb n pills but hbc1 went up to 9 from 7.5 so im on insulin 5 times a day n 2 different pills. Sugars run between 12- 22 from 17-33. So better but not great. Its easy to do tho its stings abit n bruises at times. Good luck Sue Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Mine often is lots higher infact its 22.2 just now n im in tablets n insulin. Highest ive bn is 32.7 im type 2. If u keep getting highs go to GP n ask to be referred to diabetic clinic team. Good luck x Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

Yes to drive u have to bn 5 n above. If below then you have to treat as hypo n nit drive for 45 mins after ur above 5. Should have bn explained to you when they put u on Glic. Should test every 2 hours on long drives too. Im now on insulin so even more important tho still not been lower than 6.5...

My son isnt diabetic at i no off but does have this problem. He uses a spray at night from docs. I too had it as a child. Maybe spk to doc. Just a thought n son wears them night pants u can get so he doesnt wet the bed etc. Sue Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
