Thanks thought it would be low at min as not eat so just had some porridge and will test in two hours time , I had a feeling it would be low as it's so hard to eat at the min with my gallstones in bile duct as every time I eat it sets it of horrendously.

Morning, thanks for getting back to me, my doc as confirmed I have type 2 and has given me metformin 1 a day then from today 2 a day have already completely change my diet to, I have gallstones in bile duct to and am waiting for my scan so to be honest I could not eat a lot of my old diet anyway...

Hi I'm really struggling to understand it all to me honest, had blood tests at doctors last fri got phone call on mon to go in weds and told my blood result was glucose 8.9mmmol/l is this high? And then told I have type 2 given my meds and to try to lose so weight as I'm overweight .
