Does anyone know what drugs are weight neutral apart from metformin. I have been told I need a supplement in the form of glicazide and am concerned it can cause weight gain and I wondered what alternatives there are in the uk.

If it is below 5 you should not drive

Just back from diabetes medication review. Having managed to loose 1 1/2 stone my sugars are down so much I can stop insulin and victoza. Also much reduced dose of metformin and no more Janvia. For me this is brilliant if I can loose another stone I may be able to stop all medication.

Thank you all, finally have a telephone appointment tomorrow after two weeks of trying and been told by the doctors receptionist she had more important patients to see.
