    Prediabetic??

Just got the A1C results and they are within normal range. Thank goodness for now overall but I am mindful that some individual readings are still a little concerning given my family history. Also there is a definite correlation between me eating a carb heavy meal and borderline sugars...

    Prediabetic??

Well this is interesting. Had dinner at 6pm last night. A stressful evening followed. My daughter rang with some bad news and a friend got in touch devastated her partner has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I had a terrible nights sleep and got up at 7.30 am to a 6.8 fasting rate...

    Pre-diabetic and symptoms?

Interestingly I am just waiting for A1C results. I have been getting between 8 and 10 2 hours after eating and I am tired with a dry mouth so symptomatic. I was wondering exactly the same as you.

    Prediabetic??

    Out of interest

Of course I have looked at the various ranges for blood sugars on here. I just wondered out of interest whether non diabetics do reach levels of 9 or 10 and it's fine or is it the case that we shouldn't be hitting those levels at all?

    Prediabetic??

Thanks. All post meal tests are exactly 2 hours after commencing eating.

    Prediabetic??

Both my parents got type 2 so I have always been aware I might be vulnerable to diabetes. Within the last year I have noticed I am much more tired after meals. Recently I occasionally feel my mouth is dry and that's usually after meals. Also I have spells of going to the loo more often. I've had...
