Yes .. I reduced Cameron's insulin while we were there as doing sport and the heat to take into account.. Worked out fine ⚽⚽

Ok...wee update.. Cameron's team did very well in the Easter Tournament. Got themselves into the semi finals for their group. Played against some great Spanish teams including the Spanish Regional Champions.. and held their own.. Upset to be knocked out by just one goal.. On the upside..good...

Just a wee update..Cameron now 10 doing well. He had clinic this morning and has maintained his 44 HbA1c .. for the past 9 mths. which we and the consultant were pleased with. He is off with his boys club next week to play in the Barcelona Easter Tourmament..so football still at the forefront...

Its the same in school..before p.e..does a check and takes 10g chocolate....treat time!

My eight year plays football and swims..generally we do a check before he starts sport and he takes 10g chocolate..(this should cover you for an hour).. hope this helps

I'm finding with my son aged 8 that the recommended check (2hrs) after insulin is too long. At the moment.. i check him after an hour... quite often he is heading towards 3.9...i'm guessing as he is still in the honeymoon period..
