Ask them under which guidelines they are stopping your treatment as there is currently no guidelines. They wouldn’t stop insulin or metformin. It’s purely cost cutting. Your sugars will rise when you stop the treatment.

Hi everyone. After 7 weeks, I have received a response to my complaint and an apology. There is no current guidance for stopping diabetic medication when sugars are normal. I have been advised I can continue mounjaro at my current dose, and they apologised for the distress it has caused me.

My mounjaro has not been stopped yet as I have lodged a formal complaint so it is under review. I don’t check my blood sugar as was advised against it for T2, so don’t have the machine sadly.

I am getting a very weird feeling in my body later in the day and before bed. I’m not sure how to explain it but it’s like restless legs but it’s in my upper body and arms. Like a sugar rush, but not sure it’s that. It’s happening every night. It’s very frustrating. Anyone know what it is?

Ahh I’ve heard people are being put on a maintenance dose of 5mg which controls sugars apparently. I’d be more than happy with that rather than coming off completely.

Yes… same here. I’ve just been asked to come off it, but then my blood sugars will sky rocket again.
